The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, and accompany you to visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art, it is consider the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world. With more than 120,000 artefacts, the museum houses an unbelievable exhibit depicting ancient Egypt’s glorious reign. There are grave goods, Mummies, sarcophagi, pottery, jewelry, eating bowls and toys of the Egyptians, whose names are lost to history. You can also explore the priceless treasure collection of the boy king Tutankhamon. His tomb which was discovered in the Valley of the Kings, by Howard Carter & Lord Carnarvon in 1922. The nearly intact tomb exposing treasures unsurpassed in the history of archaeology. Your private Egyptologist Guide will introduce you to the museum most important pieces.
