Whist basic digital camera knowledge while shooting in Manual mode is assumed, advice is given on photographic best-practice and where the best places to shoot will be. In addition, signed copies of the book are available at a discounted price to tour participants.

We meet here and discuss any particular things that visitors would like to focus on in the tour. You will hear about the history of the Witches Well, and what the tour will be covering.

Your guide will show you the best places to shoot this beautiful medieval renovation, as well as telling you all bout its regal history and more recent changes to the building.

Lady Stair's Close- Edinburgh
Find a prime spot to shoot down the Royal Mile above the crowds! Hear about famous residents, and see quotes from Scottish poets.

New College, The University of Edinburgh
Your guide will show you the best places to photograph the exterior architecture of the New College. Hear all about its royal past!

End the tour at the Netherbow Wellhead, outside the John Knox House. Hear about the sanitation of Edinburgh, and the history of the John Knox House. There is an opportunity to visit the museum here for an additional £7 entrance fee. Your tour guide will also be in the cafe following the tour where you are welcome to join her for a chat on anything either photographical, or that you'd like to know to further enhance your stay in this beautiful city!
