Take a relaxing guided cruise along the last few kms of Spain's second longest river to the point where it meets the Mediterranean Sea. Learn about its history dating back to the 13th century and discover the story of Papa Luna, also known as the Antipope. Admire the views over the old town and the new town, along the coast and across the beautiful beaches. You can also visit the artillery park, formerly used to store weaponry and gunpowder and now a park and museum.

Explore Peñiscola at your own pace with free time to wander through the whitewashed streets of the old town, enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants, shop for local products or just soak up the atmosphere. Discover why Peñiscola has been, and still is, the setting for many movies and TV shows including Game of Thrones. Take a walk along the seafront promenade or maybe have a quick dip in the sea before heading back to Valencia.
