Itinerary
1
Rua de Santa Catarina
We begin your tour with a savoury start on the city's liveliest pedestrian street. Here, we visit a historic local coffee house to dive into Porto's traditional savory culture, tasting a perfectly crispy, golden 'Rissol de Vitela' (savory veal patty) fresh out of the fryer.
45 minutes
2
Mercado do Bolhao
Next, immerse yourselves in the bustling energy of the city's iconic covered market. While exploring the vibrant local stalls, we will pause for a premium culinary break, enjoying a curated selection of regional Portuguese cheeses paired beautifully with a glass of fine local wine. To top off your market experience, we will treat your sweet tooth to a traditional shot of sweet Portuguese Ginjinha liqueur served in a chocolate cup.
1 hour
3
Sao Bento Railway Station
You make your way down to Porto's world-famous tile train station. Surrounded by the magnificent historic azulejos, we will wrap up your savory journey with a classic local bite to fuel us up before your hands-on workshop. From here, it is just a short, unhurried walk to your creative kitchen destination.
