Dorze Village
Early morning you will take a short flight to Arba Minch with a vehicle waiting for you at the airport for a pick up to a lodge for check in.
After checking in and short break, you will be driven to visit the Dorze village. Dorze people (are famous for their beehive shaped huts made of Bamboo leaves and weaving culture). local guide will take you to a compound of the Dorze people to visit their house and see their life style. The housewife will show you how a kind of flour is prepared from the stem of the enset tree (false banana) which is fermented and used to prepare porridge and sour flat bread. Make a walk in the mountains, passing the Dorze settlements, and visit a weaving and a potter’s cooperation.
