It is here that Tamerlane, his sons, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren are buried. I will share stories about the life and exploits of the great commander.

Shah-i-Zinda
A colorful "city within a city". A cousin of the Prophet Muhammad and close people of Tamerlane are buried here: his sisters, wives, architects and officials. You will learn how the necropolis was built and decipher the features of its architecture.
