We'll begin the tour at the papal castle, a site of executions and torture, including that of nobles and famous artists, whose stories we'll tell. An extraordinary ancient imperial mausoleum that the popes transformed into a fortress. We'll visit the apartments and the treasure chamber, and enjoy the view from the terrace.
