Parc national de Chobe
Chobe National Park is one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, located in northern Botswana along the beautiful Chobe River. It is world-renowned for having one of the largest concentrations of elephants in Africa, offering unforgettable close-up encounters both on land and water. The park’s diverse landscapes include riverfront floodplains, dense woodlands, open savannah, and marsh areas, creating the perfect habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.
During your safari, you can expect to see large herds of elephants gathering along the riverbanks, especially during the dry season. Buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and impalas are commonly spotted grazing across the plains, while predators such as lions and hyenas may be seen resting in the shade or on the move. On the boat cruise, you’ll witness hippos submerged in the water, massive crocodiles basking on the banks, and an incredible variety of birdlife including fish eagles, kingfishers, and herons.
