Itinerary
During this one-hour session, you’ll step into a tranquil tea studio in Tianzifang and explore the essence of Chinese tea culture.
You’ll begin with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to traditional tea-making tools and customs. Then, your host will guide you through the six main types of Chinese tea — green, white, yellow, oolong, black (red), and dark (pu’er) — explaining how each is made and what makes its flavor unique.
You’ll watch a live demonstration of classic brewing techniques using a gaiwan or small teapot, and learn how water temperature, timing, and multiple infusions affect taste and aroma.
As you taste and compare the teas, you’ll notice the color, fragrance, and mouth...
