In the traditional village of Zourva, we will make a stop for photos, surrounded by stunning mountain views and authentic Cretan scenery. Here, you will also learn important historical insights about the Battle of Crete in 1941, when local resistance and Allied forces fought bravely during one of the most significant battles of World War II on the island.

We will drive through lush forest landscapes towards the impressive Sarakina Gorge, one of the most spectacular gorges in Crete. The gorge takes its name from the Saracen pirates and stands out for its dramatic rock formations and wild natural beauty — a truly remarkable place worth visiting.

At the beautiful Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete, guests will enjoy a relaxing 1.5-hour walk through a lush green landscape filled with plants, fruit trees, and aromatic herbs from around the world. Along the way, they may also see animals such as deer, ducks, and peacocks in a peaceful natural setting.
