Enjoy paddling down the beautiful, remote Kupa River. This is a CALMER TOUR, still including several LIGHT RAPIDS. Water temperatures are often over 20 degrees so you can go for a REFRESHING SWIM. The tour is perfect if you are staying in the Kvarner bay area with its islands, in Istra or Zagreb area.
A true WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE in the Croatian highland is waiting for you on the upper Kupa River. You will have a great time in nature, even if the water is not warm enough to swim in. This tour is calmer than our "Rafting/Kayaking Adventure on Kupa River" and you can easily participate without former experience.

We meet travellers on bus station in place Severin na Kupi which is the big open square in this small town right by the main road. There is a little restaurant called "Miki Maus" and a store by the square.

On this tour you will enjoy the Croatian highland area on the beautiful Upper Kupa River. This section flows through a wild area; the steep forested mountains on both sides create a sort of jungle feeling. Paddling here is not hard, because you simply float down the calm river. You don't need to have former paddling experience. Our two- or three-person canoes are very stabile. Still, there are some short, fun rapids - so it doesn't get boring. NEW: YOU CAN ALSO GET A RAFT FOR 4-8 PEOPLE FOR LIGHT FAMILY RAFTING. If your group is large, a guide will accompany you all the way. For families and small groups, it's safe to go on you own.
