Day 1: Jungle Trekking and Camping 08:30 AM: Pickup from your hotel in Bukit Lawang village. 08:50 AM: Briefing on trekking program and safety guidelines at our meeting point before entering the jungle. 09:00 AM: Enter Gunung Leuser National Park and begin trekking. Search for wild Sumatran orangutans, Thomas's leaf monkeys, gibbons, and tropical birds. Your guide shares knowledge of the rainforest ecosystem, flora, and medicinal plants used by local communities for generations.
