La Caldera - 1 Hour
The La Caldera Recreational Area is located in the highlands of La Orotava, just beyond the Aguamansa neighborhood. It is one of the most comprehensive recreational areas in the north of Tenerife, attracting a large number of visitors year-round. La Caldera offers several amenities, including parking, a bar-restaurant, a large playground, public restrooms (without showers), barbecue grills, tables, and a camping area. This recreational area is the starting point for numerous trails in the surrounding area. Altitude: 1,000 meters.

Paisaje Lunar
Er verläuft entlang des Siete Cañadas-Wanderwegs, einem Abschnitt des historischen Camino Real de Chasna, der einst die Regionen am Südhang der Insel mit dem Orotavatal im Norden verband. Es handelt sich um einen flachen Weg mit wenigen Steigungen und Gefällen, der entlang eines großen Teils der Innenwand des Circo de las Cañadas verläuft, zwischen den steilen Abhängen und Ödland der jüngsten Ausbrüche, durch die zahlreichen Sedimentebenen oder Cañadas, die dem Weg seinen Namen geben. Eine ausgedehnte Route, die uns auf ihren 16 Kilometern Vulkanlandschaften von großer Schönheit und geologischem Interesse bietet, aufgewertet durch die farbenfrohe endemische Flora (besonders im Frühling) und geschmückt durch den allgegenwärtigen Vulkan Teide.
