The Obelisk is the greatest emblem of the City of Buenos Aires. It was inaugurated on May 23, 1936, in honor of the fourth centenary of the first founding of Buenos Aires, and stands exactly where the national flag was first raised in the City.

The Plaza de Mayo is the oldest in Buenos Aires and the scene of most of the most important political events in Argentine history. Its name is a tribute to the May 25 Revolution of 1810, which took place in this same square and which initiated the struggle for Argentine Independence, from which a form of government of its own began to be chosen.

This neighborhood, whose streets pay homage to outstanding women in Argentine history, is today an exclusive residential, gastronomic, and business center of Buenos Aires.

San Telmo is one of the oldest and most traditional neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. It is part of the Historic Center of the city and preserves much of its architectural heritage. Its cobbled streets, low houses, and courtyards with cisterns suggest a picture frozen in time. It is also noted for its bars, restaurants, tango halls, and, especially, for the wide variety of antique shops of different types.

Recoleta is an elegant and historic residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires, known as the "Argentine Paris" for its refined European-style architecture

It is an urban conglomerate fundamentally residential and recreational. A large part of its extension is occupied by the so-called Palermo Woods, which include a sum of several parks and green spaces. It is also an important gastronomic, cultural, and audiovisual hub.
