If you are looking for the absolute highlight of Budapest and want to experience a bit of urban nature as well and a spiritual side of the city, this is the tour for you.
We start by visiting one of the most unique churches in town: the cave church, hewn into Gellert Hill. While part of it is man made indeed, the general atmosphere takes you back to the early days of Christianity, when the church was hiding from public.
We continue on foot up to the Statue of Liberty and the Citadel, while pausing at one or the other lookout spot to enjoy breathtaking views of the city.
The summit is the absolute highlight of Budapest and if you are already tired, we can take a coffee break.

Die Höhlenkirche in Budapest ist eine der einzigartigsten religiösen Stätten der Stadt. Sie wurde in den 30er Jahren vom einzigen ungarischen Mönchsorden, den Paulinern, erbaut. Sie wurde während des Kommunismus geschlossen und nach dem Fall des Kommunismus wiedereröffnet.
