The aim of my walking tour is to make you discover and experience our city through the eyes of an insider and to be informed by a native Hungarian about the past and current affairs of the city. I’d like to tell you all the history behind our bridges, buildings and statues, but most importantly I would like you to have fun and return home from Hungary with great memories.

Deak Ferenc Square
Let's meet at stairs of the Lutheran church of Deák tér from here we take a short walk to Elizabeth square and also to the Opera house

Heroes' Square
After leraning about the Opera and other opulent buildings from the outside we hop on the Millenium underground Europe's frist underground and continue our walk to Heroes' squre and City park where we are going to visit Vajdahunyad Castle as well and learn about its architecture.

Szechenyi Baths and Pool
Get acquainted with the beautiful history of the most visited thermal bath of Budapest if we can we also take a glimpse of the outdoor pools by entering the side entrance.From this point we take the underground back to the downtown to St. Stephen Basilica.

St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)
Learn about the birth of catholic Hungary and its state founder King Stephen and also get introduced to the great deeds of some other great personalities from Hungarian history such as Ferenc Puskás

Szabadsag ter
After taking a short break at the Strudel house where we have spent our strudel and coffe we walk towards the bank district of Budapest and we end up at the most beautiful square of the city. Learn about the last remining Soviet Statue, the American embassy and The memorial of the German occupation.

Hungarian Parliament Building
We reach Kossuth tér where we observe the mighty building of the Hungarian Parliamnet we speak a lot about architecture , history and politics of the past and recent issues.We also visit the Shoes on the Danube Promenade close to the Parliament building

Fisherman's Bastion
After visiting the Parliament we take Metro 2 the red line under the Danube and soon we reach the top of Castle hill and start our walk and historical journey at the Fishermen's bastion by taking a panoramic view from the beautiful look-out terrace. From here we walk to the Royal Palace area.

Chain Bridge
We walk down the Castle hill along the Funicular. Hear interesting stories about the iconic first permanent bridge of Budapest , and stories of the lions.
