8:00 am: Local Textile Center in Chinchero
We visit a local textile center led my women that explain us more about the traditional weaving methods and the production process of alpaca and llama textiles. There are also llamas and alpacas around that we get to feed.

Moray
9:30 am: Walk inside the complex, around the circles where the Inca applied scientific tests on climatic areas to improve their agriculture. Your guide will teach you about this in detail. With the view to the mountains in the back, this is a great moment for unforgettable pictures.

Salinas de Maras
11:00 am: Enjoy the history of the still intact salt mines where hundreds of pools filter the salty water leaving mother earth. Be fascinated by how they manage their daily agriculture, to keep alive their ancient values. From here you have views to the snow-capped Urubamba mountain range.

Urubamba
1:00 pm: Enjoy an outstanding lunch buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available) in a colonial style hacienda restaurant for small groups. There's a beautiful garden with alpacas and llamas to take pictures.

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo
2:40 pm: Filled with Inca structures, this archeological site was scene of battles between Incas and Spanish invaders. Let your guide share those stories with you and come to see how this village was previously built. From the temple of the sun over to religious squares.
Here you have the chance to either leave the group to take the train to Aguas Calientes and stay the night prior to Machu Picchu there (recommended), or to return to Cusco.
