The Temple Of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven, located in Beijing, China, was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped Heaven and prayed for good harvests. It is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and philosophy, reflecting the concept of harmony between heaven and man. Key structures include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Imperial Vault of Heaven. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.
