Your journey begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive through the southern Andes. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional villages, herds of alpacas, and breathtaking mountain landscapes until reaching the community of Pacchanta, located at the base of the majestic Ausangate Mountain. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a light breakfast before starting the hike. The trail gradually ascends through stunning Andean scenery, leading you to a viewpoint where you can admire the snow-capped Ausangate and the surrounding high-altitude lakes, known for their striking colors ranging from turquoise to deep blue and green.

Throughout the hike, you will explore several of the iconic 7 lakes, each offering unique perspectives of the mountain and its glacial environment. The area is rich in wildlife, and it’s common to spot alpacas, llamas, and native bird species along the route. After enjoying the panoramic views and taking time for photos, you will descend back to Pacchanta, where a traditional lunch awaits. You will also have the option to relax in the natural hot springs, surrounded by mountain views, an ideal way to unwind after the hike.

Finally, you will return to Cusco in the afternoon after a full day immersed in the natural beauty of the Andes.
