Centennial Olympic Park
We meet at the Olympic Rings and discuss local history and details surrounding the 1996 Olympic bombing. We visit The Tribute to Olympism and Hellenism sculpture that shielded some visitors from the bomb blast in Centennial Olympic Park. There is still shrapnel embedded in the artwork.

We visit the Atlanta Children's Eternal Flame Memorial at City Hall that memorializes the 30 victims of the Atlanta Child Murders of 1979-1981. We discuss the known facts of the case, the cultural and political climate of the time, and evidence that arose decades later.

We walk to the Fulton County Courthouse and discuss the Courthouse Killer and the curcumstances surrounting the 2005 spree killing.

Westview Cemetery
We'll visit a magician/murderer's grave in Westview Cemetery and the murder's links to Coca-Cola heir Asa Candler, Jr. We also visit the Westview Abbey and Mausoleum, the largest structure of its kind in the world with room for 11,444 internments.

We drive past the last home of Roberta Elder AKA Mrs. Bluebeard and talk about Atlanta's only female serial killer.

Old Fourth Ward
We'll visit the historic neighborhood and discuss the all-but-forgotten Atlanta Ripper, whose serial slayings went on from 1909 into the 1920s.
