Our first stop is Laguna Chaxa, located in the heart of the Salt Flats. Here, you’ll witness a breathtaking scene as flamingos feed and fly over shimmering waters surrounded by endless salt crusts. The quiet beauty of this place, combined with the unique wildlife, makes it the perfect introduction to the magic of the highlands.

After exploring Chaxa Lagoon, the journey continues deeper into the highlands. We arrive at the stunning Red Stones (Piedras Rojas), famous for its surreal contrast between vivid red rock formations, turquoise waters, and the surrounding salt flats. It’s a breathtaking spot for photos and a true highlight of the desert.

We ascend to over 4,000 meters above sea level to visit the Altiplanic Lagoons – Miscanti & Miñiques. Nestled at the base of majestic volcanoes, these deep-blue lagoons stand out against the golden and ochre colors of the Andean plateau. The silence, altitude, and dramatic scenery create an unforgettable experience before heading back.
