Angkor Thom, built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII, was the capital of the Khmer Empire. The site offers a unique blend of history, art and architecture.

Bayon: famous for its 216 smiling faces carved in stone and fascinating architectural style.
Terrace of the Elephants: former royal platform decorated with reliefs representing elephants and scenes of war.
Terrace of the Leper King: sculpted platform with mysterious figures, used for royal ceremonies.
