Pacaya Samiria, Lagunas
Pick-up from the airport or hotel in Iquitos, followed by ground transportation to the Nauta port.
Short orientation in the city of Nauta, a quiet and welcoming gateway to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
Begin river navigation aboard a comfortable, traditional Amazon boat along the Marañón River—one of the main tributaries of the Amazon River.
Wildlife encounter: Spot pink and grey dolphins along the route.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Stop at Checkpoint #1 of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to obtain entry permits controlled by SERNANP (National Service of Natural Protected Areas).
Typical Amazonian lunch served on board.
Arrival at “Buenos Aires Base Camp” located within the reserve.
Brief introduction to camp rules and sustainable practices.
Orientation walk around the camp to get familiar with the surroundings.
Dinner at the camp.
