Explore "The Venice of Japan," a unique waterfront village with over 230 traditional wooden boathouses (Funaya) lining the peaceful bay. You can take a leisurely stroll, rent a bicycle, or enjoy an optional scenic boat ride (at your own expense) to feed the friendly seagulls.

Marvel at one of Japan's top three scenic views—a spectacular 3.6 km pine-covered sandbar spanning Miyazu Bay. Enjoy free time for lunch, visit the historic Chion-ji Temple (Monju-do), and optionally take the cable car or monorail up to View Land (approx. 1,000 JPY, self-pay) for the famous "flying dragon" view.

Kayabuki-no-Sato Kitamura
Step back in time at this fairytale-like village featuring nearly 40 preserved traditional thatched-roof farmhouses (Kayabuki). Take a peaceful stroll, capture photos of the iconic retro red mailbox, and try some of the famous local Miyama fresh milk or soft-serve ice cream.
