A guide and mountain escort team will arrive at the hotel in the morning to meet you and hold another briefing, after which you will drive by vehicle (approximately 3-4 hours) to the west entrance of the national park from Kilimanjaro: Londorossi Gate (2,200 m). After the quick formalities of obtaining climbing permits and registering with Search and Rescue, the group begins the trek to the first camp on the road: Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m).
