Lake Mburo National Park
Set off for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park at 370 sq km, yet teeming with life. Along the way and right up to your lodge, spot zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribis, Defassa waterbucks, leopards, hippos, hyenas, topis, reedbucks, and the regal bushbucks atop termite mounds. Marvel at the Nubian giraffes, translocated from Murchison Falls, and the iconic Ankole long-horned cows grazing nearby. After lunch, head out for an evening game drive, searching for more wildlife and enjoying the park’s 350 bird species. As the day ends, capture the breathtaking sunset framed by acacia or cactus trees—a perfect moment for photographers.
