Next, explore Humayun's mausoleum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and India's first garden mausoleum. The monument was commissioned by his wife after his death and is a spectacular example of Mughal architecture.

Catch a peek of the massive Mughal-era Red Fort, which towers above the neighbourhood.

Jama Masjid, India's biggest mosque, was constructed in 1656 with the help of 5,000 people. It is located opposite the Red Fort in the middle of Chandni Chowk and has a large red sandstone courtyard where you may promenade and see Mughal architecture.
