This is one of the most popular getaways from Quito. We start at 8:00 a.m. from your hotel in Quito, and then we'll travel south along the avenue of the volcanoes. At 9:30 a.m. you will admire the beauty of Cotopaxi Volcano (5.897 m - 19,347 ft), and you´ll be surrounded by amazing pristine forests, mountains, lagoons, wild horses and ecosystems that change as you go higher on the road! You will see also the exotic wildlife while we walk around the Limpiopungo Lake (3.800 m - 12,467 ft)! Then you will have the amazing challenge to drive uphill way towards the parking lot located at 4.500 meters above sea level (14,763 ft), in order to walk up to the refuge "José Rivas", located at an altitude of 4.800 meters (15,748 ft)!

We will visit San Agustín del Callo, an impressive colonial farm house in Ecuador, built over Inca structures!

In the afternoon we go towards Baños de Agua Santa (1.800 m), located at the foothills of Tungurahua Volcano (5.000 m) which has been in eruption since 1999! We will stay the overnight at a charming hotel. There we will have time to do a city tour and later on to enjoy its lovely nightlife!
