Day 1: Imlil (1740m) - Tizi n'Tamatert (2270 m) - Imenane valley - Tacheddirt (2400 m) You will meet your guide and mule team in Imlil in the morning. After a welcome mint tea, gear will be stowed on the mules and you will start the trek. The first objective is the pass you see up to your left if you are facing up the valley. The route passes the villages of Ait Souka and Tamatert and enters the forested trails up to the pass at Tizi n'Tamatert at 2270 m. The views back and forward are just outstanding! Rest here a while and enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice form the small kiosk and soak up the views. From here, the route will drop down to the valley floor where you can have a lunch break. After lunch you will trek up the valley to Tacheddirt where the night will be spent in a local gite
