Your journey begins with a drive from either Kampala or Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park, which takes about 4-5 hours. Along the way, you will stop at the Uganda Equator, a famous landmark where you can take photos, watch a water demonstration that shows how water moves differently on each side of the equator, and visit small shops with local crafts. After the stop, you will continue the journey to the park. Once you arrive, you will check in at your lodge and take a short rest. In the late afternoon, you will go on an evening game drive, where you will ride through the park in a safari vehicle while looking for animals such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, elands, and possibly a leopard or hyena.
