Visitors can explore the ruins and learn about their history and purpose, while also taking in stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

11:15 a.m Maras Salt Mines, also known as Salineras de Maras, is a popular tourist attraction, these ancient salt mines have been in use since the Inca Empire and are still actively producing salt today. Can also learn about the traditional methods used by local families to extract and harvest the salt. These families have been maintaining their own pools for generations, passing down their knowledge and techniques.

1:15 p.m Enjoy Local Lunch (Vegetarian and vegan options available)

2:40 p.m Ollantaytambo was once a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center during the Inca Empire. Visitors can marvel at the impressive stone architecture and learn about its significance in Inca history. Here you have the chance to aither leave the group to take the train to Aguas Calientes and stay the nigth prior to Machu Picchu there (recommended), or to return to Cusco.
