Some historians report that Tobago was a favorite harbor for pirates back in the 17th and 18th centuries, including pirates such as Black Beard and Henry Morgan. Movie lovers will also appreciate that Pirate’s Bay was used extensively throughout the movie “Robinson Crusoe” in 1952. Perhaps what makes Pirate’s Bay extra special is that the beach is only accessible by foot or boat.
