Granby vikingagård
1000 years ago there was a mighty Viking farm here in Granby. Among graves and building remains are the foundation and the plateau after a large hall building at the top of the hill next to Granbyhällen. The Granby archaeological site was partially archaeologically examined by the National Heritage Board 1988-1989. The site is a typical example of how a farm environment of high status could take shape in the Mälaren area during the Late Iron Age.
