Big Bastard's provides a full service beach experience, with music, games and floaties provided on the beach and supported by dedicated service to your seats. By choosing your beach day with us, you can enjoy a hassle free beach day, knowing you already have secured one of the best areas to enjoy on Great Bay Beach. There are a wide variety of vendors to explore within steps of our beach. The venue is easily accessible from the central water taxi station. Once arrived, your ticket will be verified, and you will be guided to your reserved space on the beach. To Orient Beach we go for 2 hours of sunshine, sand, and sea; the French capital Marigot for a hour of shopping, then to Sunset Beach Bar and Grill to see some of the largest commercial aircraft come in for a landing, the planes will be just feet over your head!. Excited, off to Cole Bay Hill overlooking Simpson Beach and Indigo Bay we head, an opportunity for a beautiful family photo; then to The Hill where you will find great views of Phillipsburg. St Martin has the remains of three forts of which two can be visited. Each fort offers a great view of one of the two capitals our small island is rich and forms a lovely background for the history of St Martin. Fort St. Louis offers a great view of the capital of the French side, Marigot (accessible via a concrete stair). Fort Amsterdam offers a great view of the capital of the Dutch side, Philipsburg (accessible via a short, sloping, sand path).
