Enjoy the classic Skagway tour! Our tour will take you down Broadway, Skagway's historic main street, and we'll point out various points of interest and photo stops. As we leave Skagway, we'll climb over 3,500 feet in elevation up to the summit, where Gold Rushers had to hand-carry all their gear on their way into Canada - except you'll do it from a heated bus. Our tour will pick up all guests and get you back in time for your ship. Sights along the way: - Brackets Toll road - Pitchfork Falls - Bridal Veil Falls - Moore Bridge Overlook - Welcome to Alaska sign - Travel to the White Pass Summit - International Falls - Tormented Valley - Skagway town overlook - Drop off in town or at your ship Our tour will have 5 to 6 photo stops along the route and we will slow down for the others. We will pick you up on the dock right off your cruise ship. Your guides will be in green and holding a sign for your excursion so keep an eye out for them! Be sure to bring a copy of your reservation with you. After we pick you up, you'll experience a guided bus tour through downtown Skagway all the way to our basecamp located in scenic Dyea! Once you're done cuddling with Alaskan puppies and perfecting your s'mores roasting, you'll have some time to explore our basecamp which includes a cafe, saloon and gift shop! Afterwards, your guide will take you back to town and drop you off at your cruise ship dock!
Learn about dog mushing and gold panning in this fun, family-friendly Alaskan experience! After arriving to our base camp, begin your tour with a Musher Talk, where the mushers share fascinating information about the Alaskan state sport of mushing. Of course, we make sure you have plenty of time to meet some of our professional athletes---our sled dogs and puppies! After that, take a chance to pan for gold in our riverside sluice. Once your guide shows you the art of gold panning, you can test your luck to see what you can find.
