The scenery makes a dramatic shift to an iconic desert landscape as we enter Papago Park. We usually see road runners (birds) on this portion of the tour. The smooth concrete bike path meanders through a unique frisbee golf course that is rocky with maroon colors. Ahead on a hill top, we see an on oddly placed pyramid; the tomb of George W.P. Hunt, Arizona's first Governor. Then we make our way to The Hole in the Rock.
