Your first stop is the historic monastery of Kera Kardiotissa, a peaceful convent inhabited and run by nuns, set in an idyllic landscape. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, beautiful frescoes, and a remarkable collection of religious icons dating back to the 14th century.

We then continue your journey south towards the Lassithi Plateau, an impressive highland area that may have once been the crater of an ancient volcano. The plateau is famous for its thousands of traditional windmills and its beautiful, fertile landscape. Surrounded by charming villages and breathtaking scenery, it offers visitors a refreshing atmosphere and a warm, authentic Cretan welcome.

We will visit the Greek Mythology Park, where you will discover the fascinating world of ancient Greek myths, legends, and civilization through an engaging and educational experience.

While crossing the villages of the Lassithi Plateau, we will make a short visit to a traditional pottery workshop, where you will have the opportunity to discover the ancient art of ceramics, a craft with more than 8,000 years of history. As we leave the plateau, we will enjoy the breathtaking views over the fertile Pediada Plain, creating a truly memorable experience.
