Built in 1883, Casa Vicens was Gaudí's first major commission and the building that launched one of history's greatest architectural careers. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its striking Moorish-influenced façade of colourful tiles and geometric patterns is a world away from the organic forms Gaudí would later become famous for — and all the more fascinating for it.
