Two afternoon options are bookable: Kozjak waterfalls & Kobarid (walk and WWI museum, admissions optional, paid locally) or Soča rafting (3 hours, professional crew and equipment, beginners and children welcome, rafting fee paid separately, we contact you with details after booking). Both depart together at 8:00 and return together to Ljubljana.

All admissions on this day trip are optional. After consulting your guide you can also spend the time freely on your own.

The morning stops at Lake Jasna at Kranjska Gora, then climbs the Vršič Pass, Slovenia's highest mountain road, fifty hairpin bends through Triglav National Park on a road built by prisoners of war in WWI, before dropping into the emerald Soča Valley.
In Bovec, the group splits by choice. 1. First stop at Lake Jasna, just above Kranjska Gora: two small lakes of clear green water with the Julian Alps straight behind them, and the bronze Zlatorog on the shore. A short stop for coffee and photographs before the road starts to climb.

Bovec is the base for the afternoon. Lunch in town, then the group splits by the option you booked: Kozjak waterfalls & Kobarid, or Soča rafting (3 hours). Everyone regroups in Bovec for the drive back to Ljubljana.
