We will depart Sydney at approximately 8:00 AM, taking a scenic route to Yarrangobilly Caves via the outskirts of Canberra. Our journey to Jindabyne will traverse the stunning high country, offering breathtaking panoramic views and showcasing an abundance of pristine rivers and lakes. Our Journey to Yarrangobilly Caves is approximately 4.5hours from Sydney and a further 90mins to Jindabyne from Yarrangobilly Caves.

Yarrangobilly Caves, nestled within the northern region of Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales, Australia, are a remarkable series of limestone caves formed approximately 440 million years ago. This extensive karst system spans a 12-kilometer stretch along the Yarrangobilly River valley. Our home base and accommodation will be situated at Jindabyne. The whole journey to Jindabyne taking 5-6hrs, although we will be taking a break by stopping at the Yarrangobilly Caves. Surrounded by towering snow gums and alpine bushland, Sawpit Creek Picnic Area provides a serene escape into nature. The nearby Sawpit Creek Walking Track offers an excellent opportunity for a leisurely hike, allowing visitors to experience the diverse flora and fauna of the Snowy Mountains. The Banjo Paterson Inn in Jindabyne offers a diverse dining experience through its two distinct venues: Clancy's Brasserie and The Overflow Pizza & Burger Bar. Clancy's Brasserie presents a menu that has become a favourite among locals, featuring succulent steaks, crisp, fresh salads, the famous 'Snowy' trout, as well as good old-fashioned pub classics. There are also plenty of gluten-free and vegan options available. For a more casual dining experience, The Overflow Pizza & Burger Bar serves a variety of handcrafted pizzas and gourmet burgers, complemented by a selection of local beers from the on-site Kosciuszko Brewery.
