Kamileon Cafe is a community-focused creative space located in Yoshiwara Shopping Street, one of Fuji City's historic commercial districts.
Here, guests will participate in a hands-on paper band craft workshop led by local instructors. Using colorful paper bands, participants will create their own handmade souvenir, such as a basket, miniature animal, decorative item, or other unique craft. No previous experience is required, and beginners are welcome.
The workshop offers more than just a craft activity. Guests have the opportunity to interact with local residents and experience a creative side of Fuji City, one of Japan's leading paper-producing regions. While many visitors associate Japanese paper culture with traditional washi paper, this workshop introduces a modern form of paper-based creativity that is popular in local communities today.
All materials are provided, and completed creations can be taken home as a memorable souvenir from the experience.
