This 5-hour guided trekking experience explores the scenic trails and natural landscapes of Sandankyo Gorge, one of Japan’s most beautiful river valleys. Accompanied by a local guide, participants walk through peaceful forest paths, riverside sections, suspension bridges, and dramatic gorge scenery while discovering the quieter side of rural Hiroshima. Along the route, guests can enjoy changing views of cliffs, clear mountain streams, rock formations, and seasonal nature while learning about the environment and history of the area. The pace is relaxed, with time for photographs, short breaks, and enjoying the atmosphere of the gorge. A lunch break surrounded by nature is included during the experience before returning to the Main Entrance area at the end of the tour.
