This excursion will take us east of San Pedro de Atacama, towards the Andes Mountains. Our first stop will be the Licancabur viewpoint , where we'll enjoy breakfast, weather permitting. If that's not possible, we'll have breakfast at our next stop, the Quepiaco River wetland , where we'll appreciate the contrast between the vegetation and the mountains. Afterwards, we'll travel to the Pacana viewpoint, and then visit the Monks of Pacana , enormous stone pillars that rise vertically and solitary in the middle of the desert. Next, we'll visit the Quisquiro salt flat , located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. Here we'll have some time to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Finally, we'll pass by the Aguas Calientes salt flat , characterized by its waters of different colors, on our way back to San Pedro de Atacama.
