You’ll meet your guide at the trailhead for a quick overview before setting out on a 3.2-mile loop with 692 feet of elevation gain. The hike follows well-maintained trails through open foothill terrain and towering red sandstone formations, with a steady, moderate pace and planned stops along the way.
As you hike, your guide will share insights into the area’s geology, native plants, and local history, while pointing out key landmarks and scenic viewpoints. Around the middle of the hike, you’ll reach higher vantage points with wide views of the Front Range.
