Jewish Museum of Venice
The Venice Ghetto is located in the Cannaregio district, very close to the city centre. This was the area where Jews were forced to live during the 16th and 17th centuries. It is the first Jewish quarter of its kind, making it the oldest Jewish quarter in the world.
