Egmont Key is a secluded island located just a few miles north of Anna Maria Island. Known for its pristine beaches, sugar-white sand, and crystal-clear waters, Egmont Key offers the perfect setting for a day of exploration, relaxation, and fun on the water. Once on the island, you can choose how to spend your time. Explore the historic ruins and lighthouse, search for shells, relax on the beach, swim in the clear Gulf waters, or snorkel around the submerged ruins that have become home to a variety of marine life After exploring Egmont Key, we’ll cruise over to the iconic Passage Key sandbar, where you can relax in the shallow, crystal-clear water and enjoy spectacular views of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. At Passage Key, guests can swim, snorkel for shells and sand dollars, explore the shallow waters, or simply relax and take in the panoramic views. Keep an eye out for manatees, tarpon, dolphins, and other marine life that are frequently spotted in the area.

This iconic sandbar is located just north of Anna Maria Island in the clean clear waters where the Gulf of America meets Tampa Bay. Depending on the tide, the sand bar may not be exposed when visiting but the water surrounding the island will still be shallow. Activities here include swimming, snorkeling for shells and sand dollars and enjoying the views and beautiful white sand. Manatees, tarpon and other fish are often spotted around the area.
