The 2026 CAD Chiang Mai Yi Peng Festival celebrations take place on November 24–25, 2026 at the government-certified CAD Cultural Center Lanna in Mae On District.
With over 25,000 attendees per night (20% more than 2025), it is Thailand’s largest organized sky lantern event. We have been official partners since 2018.
Six ticket types are available: Standard, VIP, Premium, Gold, Platinum, Elite.
No on-site tickets. Online booking only. Tickets usually sell out 3 months in advance—early booking recommended for better prices and group seating.

Experience the unforgettable Chiang Mai CAD Lantern Festival at Chiang Mai’s largest Yi Peng Lantern Festival venue-CAD Cultural Center Lanna. With official tickets and guaranteed side-by-side seating, watch thousands of sky lanterns light up the night, enjoy authentic Thai cultural performances, fireworks, Loy Krathong activities, and a Lanna Thai buffet dinner.
Schedule:
1:00 PM – Meet at your selected pickup point
• Gold Premium / VIP / Standard: Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre
• Elite / Platinum: Maya Shopping Mall (Fountain Area)
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Shuttle transfer to the venue (1 hour)
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Explore the craft zone, cultural village, Loy Krathong activities, and snack area
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Enjoy a Lanna-style Thai buffet dinner with desserts and soft drinks
7:00 PM – 7:40 PM – Evening performances and seating at the pagoda area
8:15 PM – Lantern release and fireworks show
8:45 PM – Shuttle returns to Maya Shopping Mall or Night Bazaar.
