We start at the iconic Bradbury Building (1893), one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in Downtown Los Angeles. Its stunning atrium with natural light, wrought iron staircases and original tiles is a gem that has appeared in films like Blade Runner and 500 Days of Summer.

We admire Frank Gehry’s revolutionary Walt Disney Concert Hall, with its stainless steel facade that shines like a sculpture. Fun fact: the metal panels were polished by hand to avoid reflections that would distract drivers.

We arrive at the vibrant Grand Central Market (1917), LA’s oldest food market. Here you can try tacos, juices or local coffee. Fun fact: it has been open without interruption for more than 100 years. We recharge to continue walking on Broadway.

We passed the Million Dollar Theatre (1918), one of the most iconic historic theaters in Downtown Los Angeles. It was the first theater in the world to cost more than $1 million and stands out for its facade and vestibule decorated in Spanish Renaissance style.

Located within Griffith Park, Griffith Observatory houses science and space exhibits, public telescopes, and from its terraces offers panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills, and the Hollywood sign. The observatory collects more than 170 film credits, being recognizable in films such as La La Land, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, The Terminator and Transformers.

The most recognizable symbol of Los Angeles has a history few know: the sign was originally built in 1923 as an advertisement for a real estate development called "Hollywoodland", with 45-foot-tall letters illuminated by 4,000 light bulbs — and was intended to last only 18 months. We stroll along the world’s most famous sidewalk, with more than 2,600 stars dedicated to legends of film, music and television. We’ll look for the stars of Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson, admire the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre – where Hollywood’s biggest stars have left their footprints in cement since 1927 – and walk past the Ovation Hollywood complex with its spectacular outdoor view of the Hollywood sign. Directly opposite, the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, opened since 1927 and home to the first Oscar ceremony, completes the picture of classic Hollywood on a single unforgettable block.

We head into the most iconic Beverly Hills – strolling along Rodeo Drive, the world’s most famous luxury street, with its boutiques of Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Cartier among palm trees and dream cars – perfect for photos even if you don’t buy anything. We continue to The Grove and Farmers Market, one of the most beloved corners of Los Angeles, ideal for a drink, exploring shops and breathing the local atmosphere away from mass tourism.

The Santa Monica Pier, built in 1909, is one of the most famous piers in the world and the symbolic endpoint of historic Route 66, the road that crossed the United States from Chicago to the ocean. We stroll along the shore, breathe the Pacific breeze and enjoy one of California’s most iconic beaches.

Just minutes from Santa Monica, Venice is a world apart. We ride the Boardwalk — two miles of coastal promenade filled with street artists, musicians and the freest energy in Los Angeles. We passed Muscle Beach, the outdoor gym where Arnold Schwarzenegger trained in the 1970s and which remains the world’s most famous fitness temple. And we wander away from the noise to discover the Venice Canals — a serene and unexpected corner, inspired by Venice, Italy, just a block from the ocean.
