Rue de la Republique
We will walk on the avenue de la "République", a representative Haussmannian architecture, before entering the "Le Panier" district, the oldest in Marseille and France! We will pass in front of the Marseille cathedral built in the 19th century, then in the narrow and picturesque streets entirely painted by local artists. Inside this beautiful district, we will see, among others, La Vieille Charité, La Place des Moulins, we will talk about the founding of Marseille and its 2,600 years of existence. Once on the Place de Lenche, you will have the chance to get in touch with the local culture thanks to a delicious tasting of Shuttles and chocolate, two typical products Made in Marseille. To finish this visit, we will walk in the Saint Laurent church, one of the oldest in the city and, standing, with a breathtaking view of the Old Port and the Mucem, your guide will answer all your questions and you will provide valuable information.
