Roman Amphitheater of Mérida
The Teatro Romano de MéridaClick to open side panel for more information is one of the most iconic and well-preserved Roman monuments in Spain, forming part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Mérida, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built around 15–16 BC, it was designed to hold approximately 6,000 spectators and served as a centerpiece of the Roman colony Augusta Emerita.
